As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Karen

I started in real estate in 2003 after working in IT at Boeing. This career is more than just a job to me; it’s my life. Through my own real estate journey I now own my home, I’ve bought and sold houses, owned rental properties, flipped a house, built a house, owned land and have a vacation home.

My perspective is always client first. I am not here just for a sale. i want you to exceed your goals and I want to remain your trusted advisor for you and your family for years to come. One of my favorite parts of working in real estate is that I have the opportunity to meet lots of people and make new friends along the way! It’s really special that I get to be a consultant and advise them on some of the biggest decisions in their life.

I most often find myself working with clients that are first time homebuyers, those that are looking to move up and even clients that want to purchase a rental property. My marketing strategies are quick to follow an initial client meeting; I tailor each strategy to individual goals and situations. Marketing is a key aspect of any home selling strategy and I bring my “A” game. I primarily work in South King County – Renton, Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Maple Valley. However, I have expertise and experience with buyers and sellers in Pierce County – Bonney Lake, Puyallup, Spanaway, Tacoma

In my spare time I  love to go camping, boating and I especially love being Auntie. I am a big traveler and a passionate gardener; I have a huge vegetable garden and I love flowers!

"A joy to work with"

Karen was a joy to work with. She was very professional in every way and her knowledge of the market was impressive. Our real estate transaction was the smoothest I have been involved with in 20 years of buying and selling many homes.

Renton

Renton sits on the southeast shore of Lake Washington and at the junction of three major highways: I-5, I-405 and State Route 167. That means we have easy access to Seattle, Bellevue, SeaTac airport, and the rest of the Puget Sound area. Renton was incorporated in the early 1900s, but we really started to grow when Boeing started building planes here during World War II. In the decades since, many large corporations have set up homes here, including Paccar, which makes Kenworth and Peterbilt commercial vehicles. The downtown core has been revitalized and is now home to the Piazza. During the summer, the Piazza hosts a farmers market, but there are events here throughout the year. Renton has homes of all styles Luxury homes on the water or in the Highlands, condos and townhouses overlooking Lake Washington, and new homes in friendly neighborhoods. If you’d like to learn more about Renton, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.
